Arizona Transfer and Articulation

ACETS Course Evaluation Information

What is ACETS?

ACETS (Arizona Course Equivalency Tracking System) is an electronic course evaluation system that you can access over the World Wide Web. The system allows source institutions, such as the Arizona public community colleges, to submit course equivalency request forms, notifications of editorial changes, and course deletions directly to the public universities in Arizona. The university ATAC member uses ACETS to review the forms, route them to the appropriate faculty reviewers, and record the resulting equivalency decision. These decisions feed the Course Applicability System (AzCAS) and the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG).

What is my role as faculty reviewer?

As a faculty reviewer you will be responsible for making recommendations regarding the articulation of transfer courses related to your content area. In addition to your content area knowledge, you will need to be familiar with your unit's programs of study as well as be sensitive to university practices and policies and existing statewide transfer agreements. If you do not function as the ATF (Articulation Task Force) representative for your discipline, you are encouraged to participate in regular dialogue with your ATF representative to remain current regarding Arizona articulation issues.
